Small Business On-Line, LLC was founded in 1996 by Vesta M. Jones.

Vesta recognized early on that everyone would eventually want or need a website. Her focus on all that the internet COULD be for the Small Business community moved her to buy a server and begin to network and educate clients on what was to come. And she was right!

Today we no longer search for phone numbers so we can look for the services we want, we search for web sites. The internet has truly become the information super highway and supplies people world wide with instant access to advertising, information about companies, price comparisons and a wide array of other information.

After a career in biology, then information management and ending with SBOL, Vesta, in 2004, has taken her long awaited retirement. She married her soulmate Dale in June of 2005 and lives happily by the beach, travels and continues to be creative by designing beautiful stained glass pieces.

John R. Gammon, CIO, and Emma J. Smelser, COO, are now keepers of the flame that Vesta lit when she formed SBOL. Our mission is to continue with Vesta's vision: provide our clients with all that the internet has to offer at a reasonable price. Our main goal is to provide high quality custom websites with 100% customer satisfaction not only with their website but with the customer service and support they receive from Small Business On-Line, LLC. We share the same passion about the internet and the possibilities it affords everyone - the passion that Vesta acted upon.
